Chemka Hotspring Tour

Transportation: You can drive from Moshi to Chemka, which typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on road conditions.

Arrive at Chemka Hot Springs
Time: 9:00-9:30 AM
Upon arrival, you’ll enter the site and get ready to enjoy a serene day surrounded by nature. There will typically be local guides available to provide information about the area if you’re interested in learning more about the history and formation of the springs.

Swim and Relax
Time: 2-3 hours
The highlight of the trip is swimming in the Chemka Hot Springs. The water is warm and crystal-clear, sourced from underground aquifers, creating a natural pool surrounded by vibrant green vegetation and towering trees. You can spend your time:
Swimming and Floating: Enjoy the cool, refreshing water, which is usually around 20-30°C (68-86°F), making it perfect for a relaxing swim.
Relaxing on the Banks: Take in the stunning surroundings by relaxing on the grassy banks or on the rocks.
Exploring the Area: Take a walk around the springs, explore the surrounding forests, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

After a relaxing day at Chemka, you can head back to Moshi. The drive back will take around 45 minutes to an hour, and you’ll arrive in Moshi by mid-to-late afternoon, leaving plenty of time to rest or enjoy the town.
